Website re-design concepts for Matterport, a software company that uses cameras to capture, create, and share immersive 3D imagery of interior and enclosed spaces. Working with Bay Area Drupal experts Hook42, under swift deadlines, Chapas Design provided full-spectrum deliverables via a component-based, Drupal design system. The new concepts provided a clean and fresh, lighter look and feel via responsive design, within established brand guidelines. The flexible layouts had to support various internal business initiatives, appeal to a range of personas, and scale via an easy to maintain CMS.
Allison is a super solid designer and UX professional. During my time at Matterport, we worked with her to completely re-architect our website, which had become very bloated and difficult to manage. Matterport has a very complex product in the 3D space that spans many different verticals and use cases and making sense of it all was an enormous challenge. Allison was critical in helping us understand how to convey the right amount of information to the right user at the right time across a very diverse audience on the site. She helped translate those needs into very well-thought out wireframes and designs which the developer team then took to code. The project had a very aggressive timeline and we would not have been able to hit our milestones without Allison’s expertise and diligent work ethic. She was a delight to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with design or UX work.
